This questionnaire comes from ESRAG, the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action. As a Rotarian Action Group, Rotary International has given us permission to contact you.
If you do not have ready access to some of the more detailed information it is okay to leave questions unanswered. We would rather receive some information than nothing at all. We are grateful for your cooperation and prompt replies.
From 1990 through 2010, as part of the Preserve Planet Earth Pilot Program, District Governors were strongly encouraged to appoint Preserve Planet Earth Committees. In many districts those committees continue today. Other Districts also have implemented district leadership and initiatives around the environment. We are conducting this survey to learn about your District’s environmental activities.
We will use your responses to better support your environmental work, to help districts doing similar work with each other to connect and to gather data about the possible creation of an Area of Focus for the environment. You are welcome to submit your answers sooner, even though incomplete. We will be posting a summary report at ESRAG.org.
